Default 14SG Antenna mount broken

I have a 14 SG that the antenna mount is broken where it bends on top of radio. Is this something I can replace myself, or will I need to send in for repair? Thanks for your time

We'd like to help you, but we're not sure what part you're asking about. There are several parts that someone could call an "antenna mount" in that transmitter. Can you be more specific? How about a picture?

I was wondering if you had a chance to look over the pictures? Is this something I can repair or send it in. Thanks for your time.

That repair will require you to send the transmitter to the service center because it involves repairs to the transmitter antenna system.

I have the same Radio and the antenna is extremely fragil and mine has broken twice. The radio is a great radio, but the antenna not so much. Not sure why they want you to send the radio in for replacement as it is fairly simple to replace. After the second one broke I found a replacement online by doing a search. Just so you know I Baby my radio and keep it in futaba’s best transmitter case and yet the antenna still will give up the ghost. Poor design on the antenna and I wish they would take the time to improve it. My two cents worth.
