R7014sb suitable for analog servos?
Hi there
I can't seem to figure this out: Can I run analog servos on a R7014sb directly on ch1 to ch12, either on FASST or FASSTest mode? I am used to mix analog and digital servos on the R6014, but I want to switch to R7014sb on future planes.
(Transmitter is 18SZ; servos are e.g. HS645mg; supply is A123)

Yes. As long as you do not use FASSTest 12-channel or FASST with the RX set to High Speed mode. High speed mode really gives no advantage for airplanes. It was designed and intended for use in extreme 3D helicopters and even there I know some heli pilots who will say they do not perceiver any real advantage. HS mode does not make your servos faster, what it does is allows full holding torque to be achieved sooner. Which is only important in app;ications where you are literally slamming the sticks around.
