Wiring of Futaba FP-R138DP receiver
My Servo has 3 wires [W,R,B] that connect to this receiver normally.
I want to fuse protect the servo, so I propose to sever the R &B wires from the receiver connection plug and run the R wire thru a 1 amp fuse to the positive terminal of a 6 volt battery, and the B wire to the negative terminal, leaving the W wire to run uncut to the receiver.
Next, in order to eliminate the need of an additional receiver battery connection at terminal "8/B", I will connect only the "B" wire on the "8/B" connector to the negative terminal of the 6 volt battery mentioned above.
Will this work, and provide the desired fuse protection?
Thank you,
