Default Module Crystal Change

Is it legal to change the Tx Module Crystal if using 50 Mhz band? I use a 9C Tx. If so, is there a different Tx crystal then a Rx crystal or crystal is a crystal.

thanks

Mike

Default RE: Module Crystal Change

Transmitter and reciever crystals are different and no its not legal unless you have the proper equipment to test the out put when your done. Swapping the entire module is legal and does not violate type acceptance.
