Turned off 9caf channel 3 how do I get it back on?
Some how I turned off the throttle -ch.3 on my brand new Futaba 9c during my set-up for the plane. It was working when I first turned it
on and I must have done something. I have been reading the manual this afternoon trying to figure it out. I changed the servo but that wasn't the problem. Some of the guys at the field took a look and couldn't get it going either.I did a servo test in the menu and all the servoes are working including ch.3 . In the menu on the bar graph it has a black bar down but not one going up . Any info would be a big help.
thanks,Mike

Well,I took the transmitter to the experts the next town over(fellow futaba freaks)and the guys couldn't get it going either.
Went to all the defaults Ch.3 dead . Going to box it up and send it in .A bad case of Mr. Murphy for me.

Hi Tcart,
Did you try going into a completely blank model and see how the throttle channel is affected there?
I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

RE: Turned off 9caf channel 3 how do I get it back on?
I sent the radio in to the Futaba Service Center and got it back today. The repair invoice says:Replaced stick pots and ran
setup. Tx passed bench test . Why didn't it pass bench test when they first boxed it up?I have had no less than 10 new Futaba's
since the early 70's and this little jewel is the first that would not work out of the box.I bought it to put in a new 50c Wildhare Extra
but now I will test it on a sport plane ,You know, one of the $400-$750 varieties which would be no BIG LOSS at all.I KNOW that anything mechanical
can go wrong, but I'm really diappointed in this one. The JR Boyz have been have been very razzing me about this one at the flying field.
Oh well, I had my say about this radio and I will buy Futaba next time too. One way to look at it it NOW HAS been checked over. LOL
