Default 6EX FAAST

Dear Krysta or Bax,

Just had a quick question and would like your confirmation of a couple of items before I order the system from Tower:

1. Can you program the TX to allow for a two servo application for the ailerons (1 right and 1 left) each plugged into two seperate ports in the RX and still have the abilty to use the trim on the radio as usual and still have dual rate control as usual without any compromise ?? if so, please a little advice as to how to program please.

2. Can the RX handle, without a regulator, up to a 7.4 - 7.5 fully charged battery load from my 2 cell A123 Batteries ?? The Hitec servos can, but I don't want to hurt the RX.

3. Lastly, I want full control of dual elevator servos with trim capabilities and dual rates etc... and would like to use a short "Y" connector of 20awg, but I am concerned about the amp draw of two hi-torque digital servos, 3 Amp draw perhaps under a heavy load, coming off of the one port (elevator) on th RX Bus. Should I be concerned?? or can the sytem handle it without a problem ??

I am a big fan of Futaba and like the simplicity and lightweight 6EX TX for my arthritic hands, so I am trying to make it work. Thank you in advance for the reply, Daniel

Hi Daniel,

1.) The programming for the 6EX 2.4GHz system is identical to the 72Mhz 6EXA/H's that we carry, you can do this programming in Flaperon, and page 20 of the manual will explain this to you.

2.) It is not recommended to go above 6Volts if you are NOT using a regulator.

3.) The system should be able to handle the amp draw with no problem.

Sincerely,
Krysta
