What is the difference between the TM-7 TX module and the TM-8? Does this mean that if I buy the TM7 Module on a 9Z, I would not be able to bind with any other receiver than the 7-channel that comes with the package? Or is it possible to buy an 8 (or whatever) to bind with the TM-7 TX module?

I really hope that this is not the case where you have to get multiple TX modules for different size receivers.

Only difference between the R607FS & R608FS Reciecers is the extra channel,and I believe both the R607FS & R608FS and the R6014FS will work with your 7-TM Module, like wise with the TM-8 mudules.

The only difference between the transmitter modules is the number of channels. The 7- and 8-channel FASST modules can broadcast to the 7- and 8-channel receivers.

Let me rephrase the question:

Can the TM-7 module, which can be plugged into a 9Z, broadcast to the 8 channel receiver? Or is it just that 7 channel rx? If so, I would consider it very, very expansive solution by Futaba. It pretty much screws us financially.

Let me ask the question differently. Will the 7 channel module transmit to the 8 channel receiver? If so, will it broadcast up to 8 channels or only 7?

To utilize all 8 channels of the TM-8 module, you would need an 8 channel receiver, a 7 channel module has only 7 channels to broadcast.

If you are asking "can the TM-7 be used with the R608FS" then yes, it can. But again you will only get 7 channels from it. You will be losing the use of the eighth channel on the receiver.
