Default No dual elevators for 7c???

I've done a fairly extensive search and have found no way to use dual elevator servos with the 7c. Is this correct? I really thought this radio would be it and that I wouldn't have to look outside the Futaba line.

Thanks in advance.

Hi harphunt,

While based in looks and style on the 9C, the 7C does not have all of capabilities of the 9C. To be able to trim your second elevator servo, we would suggest first that you of course do this by hand at the control surface, but if you still need to do a little more trimming you may of course go into your Subtrim menu to make further adjustments. But if you are wanting to trim in flight, you will need to purchase a Synchronizer.

Sincerely,

I had the same problem. I was able to over come the lack of funtionality in the 7CAP by adding the MSA-10 servo sychronizer. The only issue I had after that was servos with different speeds and distance of travel. I purchased a couple digital servos and was able to get them pretty closely synched.

Isn't there such a thing as a y harness that reverses one servo. Wouldn't that do the job, allowing trim in flight?

Thanks

Is the Futaba SR-10 Servo Reverse Y-Harness a reliable solution? Will trim work with it?

Thanks

When you use a "Y" harness, the trim works for both halves, just like the main stick works for both halves.

So what would the difference be betwenn this(above) and the servo synchronizer?

The Futaba MSA-10 Servo Synchronizer will allow you to set endpoints, centering, and reversing, and also allow you to use an additional battery pack to drive the servos. A regular "Y" harness only couples 2 servos to one channel. The SR-10 Reversing "Y" harness only adjusts the centering of the servo.
