I just bought several of the R607FS receivers, and before I use them, I too would like to
know what the deal is. Are they already obsolete?

The R607FS receivers are not obsolete. They come with the TM-7 transmitter modules, and are available separately.

Thanks, Bax. So, Futaba is going to manufacture two 7-channel FASST receivers? How do I choose the correct one for my applications?

Now really Baxter;

"Due to necessities in production, enough components needed to be changed in the R5104DPS receiver, so it was renamed the R5114DPS."

The 5114 showed up with Mode A or Mode B selection!

I have the new R617FS receiver. Channels are 1 - 6 with the 7th channel marked 7/B. How do you get a full 7 channels on a non-Electric airplane? Maybe a Y harness off the 7/B channel?

No receiver instructions are in the new 7C 2.4 GHz manual.

Thanks,

Hank

Hi Hank,

Yes, you will need to use a Y connector in the battery in the 7/B slot.
