Default 12FG-12Z

haven't seen this one asked yet:

is it possible to move models(files) back and forth between the 12Z and the 12FG?

Unfortunately, no, the 12Z uses a 32MB CF card to store information, and the 12FG uses an optional SD card of your choice to store it's information.

Yes, but are the files compatible? I can certainly connect the cards to my PC and move the files manually.

Hi Robbidos,

I am sorry, Mongo did not ask if he could transfer files from one transmitter to the other via his PC, or I would have answered differently.

No, due to the way that the 12FG is configured, once you mount your SD card into your reader, you will not be able to see the model files on your SD card. Futaba has created a "reader" for your files, but this only allows you to view what is on your card, not transfer them to your desktop to copy over to a CF card.
