Default Receiver unique id numbers

Hi
Can anyone tell me if the FASST 14 channel Rx has retained the unique RX ID number feature that can be tied at the Transmitter to a particular model memory. This is included in the non FASST 14 channel Rxs and is in my opinion it is a great feature to stop you trying to fly with the wrong model memory up on your TX.?

Cheers

Mike

No, there is no receiver ID number on the R6014FS receivers. It is not needed as you will link the receiver to your specific TM-14 module.

Hi
Thanks for that. I hope Futaba are going to bring in there version of Model Match as i think it is a very sensible feature.

Default RE: Receiver unique id numbers

Krysta,

I have a similar concern. I'm using a T12Z with the MT-14 module, and I'm planning to use one of the R6014FS receivers in a particular aircraft in the 12Z's memory bank, debug the system, and then move the receiver to a more expensive aircraft that is also in another one of the 12Z's memory slot.

My question is two-fold:

1. Will the setup, flight conditions, and receiver ID that are specific to the first model, stay with that model memory after the receiver is removed, or will those setup parameters transfer without change when I put another receiver into the aircraft (either another R6014FS or the original R5114DPS that is now shipping with the 12Z)?

2. When transferred to the new aircraft, will the setup parameters and flight conditions that I have already programmed in using a R5114DPS remain "as-is" and unchanged, or will the change-over into using a MT-14 module and the subsequent linking with the R6014FS receiver wipe out all the work and effort that went into the setup in the first place.

From what I have read, the channel group matching in the R5114DPS is different than that used in the R6014FS, and I'm concerned that either the setups remain "as-is", and/or that the receiver/transmitter link remains unique to the specific aircraft regardless of any receiver swapping that is done.

Thanks,

Bob

1) Model memory is in the transmitter. When you set up an aircraft, and name it, then that information is all contained in the transmitter. When you change receivers, and bind the new receiver to the transmitter, then the model memory you select in the transmitter is the one that will control your model.

2) Again, all setups are in the transmitter. When you change the setup, though, you change the settings in the transmitter. The receivers have nothing to do with channel grouping. It's done in the transmitter.

Thanks Bax,

I'm greatly relived to hear this. Keep up the good work! You are "Top Drawer" in my book, not matter what Krista says about you.

Regards,

Bob
