Bax or Krysta,

I just got my TM-7 module and R607FS Rx today from Tower. It was shipped on 1/24/08. It has a white paper dot on the box and one on the Tx module. Does this mean it has been tested prior to shipping? Thanks for your help.

Update:

Nothing from product support at this point. I stayed on hold for a while at Tower today and was finally told that they have no way of testing prior to shipment. Mine will have to be tested, so is Tower knowingly shipping questionable product? This is very sad to say the least.

If the paper dot has an "I" printed on it, it was inspected at the factory to have the proper I.D. Please see our latest service advisory:

I too, received a 6EX 2.4 from Tower to-day. It has a plain white dot (sticker) on the box and on the transmitter. (no I) I called Futaba service and was told EVERYTHING shipped after Jan 14 was tested. He avoided answering about the white dot.

Thanks for the info. I sent mine back to Tower today, no one seems to know about the plain white dot. It's not worth losing a plane over.
