14MZ programming
On the 9 ZAWS, in addition to the digital throttle trim, I can program a slider to have more flexibility on the throttle. After I have the correct idling, I never touch the digital trim again. After take off, I just push the slider to have a slightly higher idle. When it comes time to land, I lower the slider to lower the idling.
Is there a way I can program the same function on the 14MZ? That is, use the digital trim to set the idling, then, fine tune it with one of the sliders during flight.
Thx,
Adrian

Well I'm not Futaba support and this may get deleted but... have you considered setting up a "landing" condition and an "in-flight" condition and "separating" the throttle trims in each condition. I have a condition that I use for takeoff and landings. It has mild throws, no mixing, and a lower idle. Right after takeoff, I go into one of the in-flight conditions with either knife-edge mixing or 3D throws with flap mixing. All of the "in-flight" conditions have a higher idle. When it comes time to land, I select the landing configuration (which could also include extending the gear and flaps and re-trimming) and the idle drops to a lower setting.

RE: 14MZ programming
Hi Adrian,
With the flexibility of this radio, there are probably a few ways to go about this, I did it with a Pmix.
I set up a mix with master as throttle and the slave as throttle, leaving the percentages both as +100%, and as I didn't want to specifically do anything with this mix (other than use it for the tuning purposes) I left the switch selection as Null.
Down in the lower left hand corner, I now set the Fine tuning to LS, left slider. I set the amount of tuning to -40%, but you will need to adjust this to your own needs. You will need to adjust the curve of your tune also with the box between the switch selection box and the rate box. But again, this will depend on your needs.

RE: 14MZ programming
Why use a slide and not a switch that when activated lowers the throttle by a small offset. Isn't this what the Idle Down function is for?
