Default R608FS binding to T6EX

Is it possible to bind a R608FS Rx to a T6EX transmitter. I am flying the 6EX with a heli and another plane using 606FS recievers and was given a 608 and I can't get it to bind and of course it was a gift so no receipt so I am stuck with it.

It would be nice if this was made more clear by Futaba - the fact that some Futaba 2.4 ghz receivers cannot link with some Futaba 2.4 ghz transmitters - who knew?. This little fact was unknown to experienced sales people at my local hobby shop. It's not mentioned on any of the online shops either. In fact, I can't even find a Futaba 2.4 receiver that is compatible with my Futaba T6EX - they seem to be discontinued or unavailable. The only recievers that seem to be available right now are not compatible with the T6EX.

The R616FFM and R617FS will both work with your 6EX FASST transmitter. Due to their popularity, these may be out of stock from time-to-time, but that's because they're selling faster than Futaba can make them.

Funny you say that because I have purchased two R617FS recs. and I can't get either one to bind to trans. I call Fut. and one guy said to push the side of the button I told him I have tried pushing both sides of the one push button I have pushed it and held it for 5 secs. ten secs. 20 secs. 60 secs. I tried pushing on and off I tried turning it on while holding the button I have tried everything I could think of. I have two other R607FS that I have no problem binding . Fut said I could send it to the service center but I just bought the recs. Now I don't know what to do CAN ANYONE HELP Charles [&o]

We have found that some of the receivers are touchier than others as far as the button when linking them.

We have found that we need to press either end or directly in the middle portion of the button on some. This is not specific to any particular receiver, but I have just kept retrying different areas on the button until I get it.

If you have tried different a few times and cannot manage to get the correct spot, then yes, I would suggest sending this in to the service center.

Yes I did, that's why my last line suggests you send it in to the service center.

It's the part about If YOU cannot manage to get the correct spot Like it's me that can't get the rec. to work it's a problem with the rec. NOT ME Charles

So much for "Simple one-touch binding - no plugs to mess with or lose "

And if there is a problem with the receiver, we will repair or replace it for you.

If you cannot make this work as you are saying you can't and you have tried everything that you say you have, then it needs to be sent it.
