Default Transmitter Power & Battery Voltage

Can you tell me if the output power of a Futaba transmitter changes as the voltage decreases in the transmitter battery?

In other words, is the signal stronger with a full charge than it is just before the voltage alarm goes off?

I have some ham radio handheld radios that allow me to set the power output. They will put out that power until the battery dies. Are our model transmitters similar? They keep putting out the same power until they exhaust the ability of the battery to put out that power?

Thanks.

Default RE: Transmitter Power & Battery Voltage

The output power of an R/C transmitter will tend to go down a bit from when the battery is fully-charged to when the battery pack is nearly-depleted, but it's not much. Almost any hobby-type transmitter will have this behavior.
