Hi Bax,

I need your opinion.I"ve recently bought a Comp.Extra and want to fly it with one my 617 Fs receivers.Do you think I can fly it without any issues or better to stay at my old trusty 149 Dp s?Is there any special hints as for the using a 2.4 receiver in composit modells is concerned?
Thx in advance

Hi Georgee,

Fuselages made primarily of composite materail will tend to block 2.4 GHz signals. You will have to get the antennas outside of the airplane and well-exposed to the transmitter. The fuselage is a good block, so you'll need to get an antenna out both sides of the fuselage.

If this is not an option for you in your set up, you may want to stick with the R149DPS.

Sincerely,
