Default Buddy Box for 10C

Can I use the Futaba "Interlink Elite" controller/radio that I got with my RealFlight v4.0 software package as a buddy box for my 10C radio? If so, do I just get the micro-to-micro plug, and off I go?

Thank you,

- Don

The RealFlight controller cannot be used as a 'buddy box' with any transmitter. It does not have the circuitry necessary to act as a student transmitter in a trainer setup. It's only designed to be used with a computer running the RealFlight Simulator.

Here is the current Futaba trainer box:

FUTM4376 TRAINER BOX FM/PPM/2.4G US$69.99

These parts can be ordered through any hobby retailer who sells Futaba systems and accessories.

Thanks Bax!

Ordered today at Tower. I thought, however, I saw something, somewhere that said the Futaba (RealFlight) Interlink Elite Controller could be used as a buddy box for a Futaba TX Model 9(??) ? Anyway, as stated, I should get soon and thank you for getting back to me w/ model, etc.

Best Regards,

Don

Bax: took your advise and ordered the FUTM4376. Been trying to get it to work but no luck. Have been following the Installation directions much as possible. But where are all the switches mentioned in paragraph #3 and#4 on the Trainer Boxs Instruction sheet? Also trying to assign a switch on the 9C Super. The operators manual on page 40 does not really help. What gives? Is it me or is there something missing here?

In the 9C, you need to turn the trainer function on by changing the setting from "INH" to "OFF". IT will then turn on when you pull the trainer switch, and turn off when you release the trainer switch.

Please see page 40 in the 9C or 9C Super manual:
