12Z Set Up for GV-1
I asked this question a couple days ago but no response yet. I would like to know how to set up the GV1 in the 12Z. I would like the governor to be off in normal, on in Idle 1 and 2. I want to use switch C for head speed 1, 2, and 3. I would like to be able to adjust the headspeed from the transmitter if possible. If not, then on the unit.

Between the instructions in the transmitter manual and the one with the governor, it should be straight forward.
Usually, you set the idle-ups onto a switch. Then, you set idle1, idle2, and idle3 in the governor menu. Set the units to RPM. Then, you calibrate the governor by going to the 2nd page and setting the GV setting. Turn the dial so that the highlighted "ignore" says 1000 RPM. With the transmitter on and sending to the receiver, you need to set the governor to 1000 RPM. Do the same for 1500 and 2000 RPM. Now your transmitter and governor are in "sync".
Once the governor is calibrated to the transmitter, you can set the RPM levels of each of the idle-up levels. Set that RPM you want in the 'RATE' section. You can set a control to fine-tune the RPM levels. The rate is how many RPM the fine-tuning control can adjust the head speed.
