I have a pair of New 608FS recievers ina 35% plane with tuned pipes. I have run into one of the recievers unlinking due to heat buildup. When it unlinks the reciever internal temp is 133*F. Only one reciever is affected.. Does this reciever need to be returned for service?

133 degrees F is rather low. We'd suspect something else is going on. It's possible you have a bad chip in the receiver. We'd have to see it to be sure.

Hooked up the three recievers I have all in a row.. One unlinked at 133*F and the other two climbed to 160 range and were still linked up solid.. I will be sending the one in for service. What do I need to state in my explanation to assure that the heat issue is diagnosed?

You can state that it fails when other receivers of the same type do not, and present the comparisons.
