I have a 6xas and would like to add a three way toggle switch. Here is what I think I need http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCLP1&P=V I would like to add it in place of the gear switch. Can anyone give me info as to if this can be done ... and where it needs to be sodered into the board.

While you may be able to physically change out the switch, the software will not follow. Your transmitter will still only act as though you have the gear switch in place. It will not be able to recognize the third position.
