Software upgrades 12fg
Hi I have query regarding software updates I have recently upgraded my 12fg to version 1.6 using a new blank Sd card with no problems this card will be used for upgrades only I have a seperate card with my model memories. my question is, this card that I used to upgrade with now has software version 1.6 on it if in the future a new software update is available will I need to remove version 1.6 from the card b4 updating if so how can I do this when windows Xp doesn't recognise any files in the futaba format

Wow, I never heard about 1.6. According to here:

it was released July 10, 2008. I wonder why my 12FG came with 1.3 then, which I bought around Christmas.
Is there a list of new features and changes in 1.6? The downloads page only has changes new to 1.3.

What you would need to do is to reformat your card on your PC. This will wipe out anything that is on it. Then, if you download the File System Utility you can check to make sure that it is blank.
Once you install the new update, you can use the File System Utility to make sure that it was downloaded and see that it is listed as "Update".
