10C Hover Throttle and Hover Pitch
Do these functions default to on? How do I insure these functions are totally disabled. Both functions caused me some head scratching with till realized these function were on.

Yes, these always default as On.
When you create a new model, it would be best to immediately go into both programs and set them to INH, if you are not wanting to use them.
