Futaba I need a few info about the BUG
Hi
I have two Futaba 10C radios for repairing because they still have the BUG in MODE 4. ( throttle trim )
Well, I would like to know what will Futaba do for it ?
Will you sold or change anything new inside the radio or will you only upgrade the software by an interface connected to the Campac ( 7 pins )
I have the software version 1.1, what's the new one ?
thanks in advance.

RE: Futaba I need a few info about the BUG
As we stated about two years ago in another thread, Futaba created new software for the transmitter that corrected the trim difficulty when the transmitter was being used in Mode 4. The transmitter needs to be sent to the service center for a software update. There would be no charge to upgrade the software, but you do have to send it to us. The current version is 3.1

Andika has a European transmitter. That screen is not present in the 10C nor 10CG transmitters in North America. We know the software version because we have the programmer in our service center.

The european 10C is the same except the battery, NiMh 1700 intead of the standard NiCd 700, so do not lie.
Everybody can check their own futaba radio at home to see the firmware version or even to calibrate the sticks and VR's

OK, I was wrong. Also, nobody lied, and we deeply resent the implication.
However, we originally thought that you were getting to a screen in the normal menu structure. That's what led us to believe that the unit was not a North American unit. We have seen, many times, that units outside of North America have had different options in the menu structure. We did some checking and found that what that screen is showing is a display that is not normally accessible to the average modeler without a special piece of hardware, or performing an operation upon the pins in the CamPac slot. Most modelers will not have access to that screen.
Those screens are intended by Futaba to be used only by authorized service personnel. Of course, if you know what you're doing, you can get to them to change many settings in the transmitter. Do that at your own risk.
Finally, if you believe your transmitter has a difficulty with the software, then please send it to the service center for checkout.
