10CAG Compatible Receivers

I just bought a 10CAG and have a R617FS receiver that i'm trying to link and i won't work. So is the R617FS not compatible or if it is, what's the procedure to get it to link up?Besides holding the link button down for more than two seconds. Thanks, Gary

You have to set the transmitter to "7-channel" mode. It's likely set to "multi" mode right now.
