I have a R6014fs r/x which is failing to bind.
Occasionally it will, but most of the time I switch on and the LED remains red.
If I switch it off then on again, after about 10 seconds it will go green.
Most of the time it will alternate between red and green.

This is the 3rd r/x,
The first failed in flight, just did not respond. It had less then 30 minutes of flying time on it.
The second actually failed as my plane touched down on the runway, it was returned to a service centre in UK and found to be totally u/s with just 15 minutes of use on it.
this one is the replacement for that one, and has less then 1 hour of use.

All my other 6 and 7 channel receivers are fine.

Any idea what is going on with them, as they are not a cheap item to replace.

T/X is a 10c which as far as I am aware is operating fine.

We'd have no idea why you may have a difficulty, unless you're allowing the receiver to exceed 60-degrees C in temperature. It will stop working at or above that temperature.
