Default Engine in the 35-50 cc range with rear intake and exhaust?

I'm looking for an engine in the 35 to 50 cc range. This one must have rear intake and rear exhaust. Anyone have some suggestions? The ZDZ is out of the question. Thanks in advance.

Isn't that a weed whacker conversion?

Syssa has a very nice 30. Does that work for your requirements?

The Evo and Mvvs are side exhaust. Rear intake and rear exhaust is hard to find

Yep, I am finding that out. According to TBM. they are doing their own work in Sarasota. I'll spend the quarter and call them on Monday. It looks as if I'll end up with the ZDZ 40. The Syssa 30 is a great engine, but mine needs something a little bigger than that.

Be cautious and don't make any split second purchases under pressure or grandiose assurances.

I wouldn't dream of it. I've only been building Model Airplanes for the last 61 years, and they got to get up real early to get ahead of this old redneck.

Moki has a 45 with rear everything, but it weights 1850gr I hope ignition included.
The ZDZ 40 re 1300 without ignition, so way lighter but as you said out of the question for a reason that I don't know but certainly because, anyway here in Belgium, one cannot get one with your money in your hands.
The dealer is a ghost, and ZDZ himself seems to be eighter very slow or not interested. Allready choking rich I presume.

Regards

It just goes to show you, what I have been thinking for a while...

We need a DA40
Or an DLE 40
OR a SYSSA 40

Nobody makes a high power light 40 cc for the 25-27 percent airplane. Yes, there is the Evo/MVVS 40 but thats it.

What's wrong with the EVolution 40?

It is really light and fits nicely in the nose of a Hangar 9 150 size Mustang, and would have fit really well in my GP Cap 27% too.

Who knows, if we shout it out loud enough and long enough maybe DLE will listen or maybe they already have plans for doing a 40cc to add to their engine line in the very near future.

$499.99 is a deal breaker for me.

A DLE 40 would be in the $300.00+ range.

So far it's been $499 well spent for me.
