The RCexl will work, Use the 3/4 Hex plug caps.
The original CH has the small deans connector that will still work with the RCexl.
Just line up the grove in the connector to the white wire, Will plug right in and put tape or heat shrink around the connecter

Fox sends all ignition problems back to C&H. Fox does have a tester, but Charles does'nt want to deal with ignition problems. He will fix anything mechanically wrong with any of the Fox engines. And YES, I was sponsored by Fox at one time, fantastic running engines.
