RE: Vess 22B
The pitch at 2/3 diameter very often is the pilot pitch. To have less pitch near the hub saves wood because the prop can be thinner near the hub. Sometimes the pitch at the tips is slightly less as well to allow the prop blade load to approach elliptical and reduce tip swirl.
In my calculator the B size has 10" pitch as well, derived from power loading and reported user rpm.

I put a Vess 22B on my Prather prop pitch gauge and could only measure out 8" from the hub but that's about 2/3 out on the blade.
I was expecting it to be a 6-10 pitch but every measurement I could make came up 10" pitch.

Yep....I like the 22B but lately have gone to Xoar due to the fragility of the Vess....I got a cracked tip on one of mine just from a hardshell bug going through the tips[X(
