3W-85 CS Very Strong vibration.
Good afternoon all!
Today first has once started its 3W-85 CS.
The Problem one - less 1600 RPM engine keeps by a narrow margin. On turn from 1600 and less reveals itself very strong vibration. At turn less 1400 engines stopped. The Vibration such a that tested stand, on which lies the cargo in 20 kgs walker goes and appear the misgivings that engine simply will come off нахрен.
From 1800 and above all beautifully. While manage to untwist before 6200 RPM.
Benzine 98, mixture 1:40 with liqui moly, Mezhlik 26Ñ…10 ideal balansed.
spark plug NGK CM-6.
The Muffler - staff Pitts with before 11/4 inch refer to tap.
Ignition native.
The Owners of these engines: report please adjustment L and H for normal work!
Are taken any advices. Rescue!

RE: 3W-85 CS Very Strong vibration.
Hi Pilot, I have had one of these for a few years the tick-over should be around 1700-1800 rpm any less and you will get vibration, after a few hours of running you may get the tick-over below 1700 but dont bank on it.
With a 26X10 mine was turning 6200-6400 rpm with good transition and there was a bit more if i wanted the best torque range for the 85 CS is in the low 6000 range that is where your power is.
Hope that helps.
There is a subscriber here on this forum called "Tired old man" he runs 3W engines maybe he could add more.
The needle settings are to variable to offer any advice start with the book setting that is high needle out 1 and low needle out 1.5.
The manual states to keep the cylinder temperature below 100C. but there are many here on this forum that state you can go well above that temperature but for me i try to keep it at under 100C. hope this helps.
The 3W.85 is an awesome powerful engine, mine pulled an 22KG. 100 inch wingspan war-bird with no problem.
