Default MVVS .26 Mounting

I've got one of the MVVS 26cc gas engines that I plan to use on a Great Planes Giant Stick. As this engine has lugs for a beam mount, is there any reason not to use the supplied fiber filler motor mount or something similar (such as a Dave Brown mount) assuming the engine fits the mount?

I think that would be just fine!

I have mounted my MVVS/Evolution 40 cc that way as well as with the round, backplate type mount. Both worked fine. Enjoy the engine. It is top shelf!
