I've been married for 36 years and can definately relate to that statement. Best way to terminate a sex life is to marry it.[&o]

OK guys so i cracked open the engine and the bug that you saw fly by before the engine seized was the culprit. Just kidding.

Nah but i will say the bearings are trashed and so its screaming to me bearing failure. But im still looking it over and its getting kind of late and ill fix it up tomorrow and give it a test after i finish checking all the components.

Well this is normally a user induced problem, you're feeding her enough oil or know how to tune her.

Lots and lots of very expensive "oil" is what it takes. Basically if you just give them all the money you can get your hands on, they might stay happy.

Tuning is just a matter of letting them be boss and have their way all the time. This has all allowed my brother to stay married for 30 years, but it's not for me...

A happy man spends a lot of time in Thailand, Dubai, Germany, or Stockholm. Cheaper that way too. Captn, you are so right.

Does Croatia count? That is where I am currently at till June 20th. Beautiful women here for sure.

However there are no DA's US engines or DLE's here that I can see. Been looking though. No hobby shops here in Zagreb.

Forgot about that one, and also how the women have yet to be corrupted by the feminist movement, or that marriage vows are not a one way contractual agreement.

Yep, besides myself I know other people that have Thai or Mexican women. They are super happy, but I always tell them "whatever you do don't let them get buddy, buddy, with an American gal; it will ruin them for sure." I don't think American women even know what they want themselves anymore... Ya give them everything, and they still aren't happy. It's all in the news how marriage is slowly going the way of the dinosaur in the USA.

I had a Mexican gal I used to bring to the states to visit my family, etc. She was literally shocked at how American women treat their husbands, and dumbfounded that the men put up with it. She thinks American men are weak "poosies".

Not to mention that in other countries sex isn't bad, dirty, or a granted favor; it is an "AOK" and natural thing, EVEN IF THEY ARE VERY RELIGIOUS!

Yeah, I would like to thank the moderators for letting us "spout off" a bit here....

So, what's up with that engine? I sure expected to see more damage after that "sudden stoppage" incident. Just bearings? Did the bearings get loose enough to let the crankshaft rub the case hard enough to stop that suddenly?

I am "with" the gang that suggests that the propellor did NOT fail and cause the stoppage.

I do not think a balll bearing that will happily run at twice the rpm wecould possibly use in our race engines would be harmed by running in an engine for a few seconds without a prop....Or not...
A cheap lousy bearing with ball separaters that separate is a different story...

Here here!! That's a great idea. I've been at my brother's house in Tucson visiting and working. I MISS those Mexican gals! Headed back there soon.

Let's hope the next movie installment of the engine doesn't have such an abrupt ending....

Nah, Robert's still around, I spoke with him Saturday afternoon. He had the engine torn down. The bearing were/are fine, which, after turning the crank with the back of the case off, doesn't surprise me. I used to fly heli's and got half-way decent at finding bad bearings by feel. The crank is bent/twisted, obviously. His current theory is that one of the cylinder bolt holes that penetrates into the crankcase had machining burrs on it and after heating a bit it expanded enough to make contact with the counterweight on the crank and break off/jam the crank. It would account for all the metal.

Regardless, Robert is getting it all taken care of under warranty. I certainly update the thread when I get it back in hand.
