Like someone already posted. If you want to fly scale, then use a US engine, but if you want to fly real fast, use a DA engine. I have flown US, Quadra and Zenoah engines and I think the Quadra or US engines are more suitted for scale flying as they don't like to turn up high RPM's. Just my .02 cents worth.......

I got a 50cc plane and needs me a engine for it. Heard a lot about US engines and how well they run.

where have you heard A LOT about US Engines? Do you fly with a bunch of old farts who refuse to buy higher performance gas engines?

what 50cc plane do you have?

If you get a Zenoah by Ralph Cunningham you will change your mind about the Zenoah's.

To the OP's original Question. Let's be real here. Pro and con.

DA = top noth quality and exceelent service.
US engines? Don't know

DLE Cheap and reliable. It is in my opinion the modern day equivalent of a timex. It takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. On the plus side if they do break Jedi Jody has all the parts you need and they are not expensive like the above engines.

Now go fly

I said I was staying out of the general fray in the beginning. No reason to change that position now.

I fixed it for you..........

I don't think you will find anyone on this board, or any other for that matter... bragging on how great a US engine is, they were very heavy and lack power as a aircraft engine.

Now, the US may make a okay tiller or edger powerplant, but as a aircraft engine it was near the bottom of the heap.

its obveous that the fat chick is the better cook, thats why she is fat.. the Ugly chick got ugly because she burned her face while trying to learn to cook, thats also why she has a fine body, she cant cook, and thus is under fed!

If you want excellent service and turn around time on repairs, you can't beat D.A. I crashed a plane, sent the engine in for repairs. It was back in my hands in 10 days from the day I mailed it out! It runs great after the repair. I now own 4 D.A. engines and all run very reliably from the 100cc twin down to the 50cc size.
Hi

I payed $125 CAD , to have a ground shield changed , and spark plung cap repaired [:@][] . Going with the , " BEST " doesn,t mean you get what you want [:'(]
