DLE 20 IGNITION QUESTION
Ive had this dle20 for about 8 months with no problem until now. When the engine is running I can bump the throttle up and down quickly and the engine dies. If I try to start the engine it will not startuntil I turn the power off and on.
Has anyone ran into this problem or heard of it?
thanks

RE: DLE 20 IGNITION QUESTION
Coxco, Are we allowed to guess? Since turning the switch on and off has an effect, it may be the switch or the ignition module. Try another module. I always bring a spare one with me when I go to the field. They're not that expensive and are easy to replace to get to a possible fast solution. Dan.

RE: DLE 20 IGNITION QUESTION
We thought of that and changed it out with a new one. Still shuts down. One time it shut off when I was coming out of a loop on the down leg and throttled back. The prop was still turning and I turned the 42% onboard switch off and back on and it started right up. I have taken the 42% switch out and wired it straight in and it still shuts off when you throttle back to idle or bump the throttle up and down from the idle position. weard

RE: DLE 20 IGNITION QUESTION
coxco,
If your still using the original DLE/3 spark plug, that might very well be a big part of your troubles.
Dump it and get an NGK/CM-6 and gap it to .024.
One other thing, make certain the plug cap is fully seated onto the spark plug.
When it is, you can't see the hex of the plug.
