Just want to thank you all for Basically fixing my problem.  I had the same problem, and have been trying to tune this thing all weekend, and nothinig seemed to work, it would just pop and stutter. I changed out Ignition power, removed the gas tank adjusted timing back and forth, and tried every combo of mixtures immaginable.  I even changed out the gas thinking I mixed it wrong or was bad.  I was at my last straw, when I found this thread.  I took my NGK Plug out and gapped it to .26,  I may go back and do it at .24 as it states here, (just forgot what  the number was by the time I got to the shop, and put it back in and it worked perfectly. Not 1 pop, or stutter, I didnt change the mixture, it ran the best its ever ran as is.  Just wanted to thank you guys for saving me what could be another 4-6 hours of fiddling.
