Very cool, but no prices.
Then again, if ya gotta ask.....you probably can't afford one.[]

Probably could buy a few extra engines for what it cost. LOL

But very nice anyway.

Pull the hub and use a #21 drill to SLOWLY drill the bolts out from the back side...I would highly suspect a company that could not get a prop hub off an engine that they put together....[>:]

The company where I worked (Continental Motors)had a machine simular to this in the Salvage department. In a large shop thatmake engines... they needed such a device. I think it paid for itself many times over. Capt,n

Easier to let someone else make the engine, perform your own modifications, and not break prop bolts. I'm trying to remember the last time I broke a prop bolt. Was it 2005?

No need to pull the hub, drill the broken shank with the #21 drill bit, then purchase and use a #2 easy out turning turning it counter clockwise, the shank will come right out. You must drill the shank straight in order to not damage the threads.

i ruined a nice rossi 45 a bolt on... i stripped one of the exhaust bolt holes..and used an electric drill to tap out a 8-32 and the rest is history.... next time i do delicate work like that, im gonna tap it manually and remove the engine from the plane

Yea, bad things happen real fast that way. By the time you realize what's happening it's way too late.
