Default Long Plug vs. Short Plug

Hey guys, newbie at this. I have a cowl that will not allow long plugs. Can I replace the standard Zenoah G26 plug with a short plug and still maintain the reliability of a Zenoah engine? I am asking R. Cunningham to convert my two G26's to E/Ignition for less weight, etc. Any advice on the use of plugs and are there any concerns on installation of the shorter plug? Thanks. Chic

What is the number on the plug you are using, Some of the older G26 used a different plug than the newer ones.

Thank you Mr. Cunningham. Where do I send the motors and what is the cost for the E/I conversion, return shipping, and as you say, to spot face the cylinders? What plug should I buy or will you also supply two plugs plus one extra? This is my Xmas present to myself so I need to know what I will have to save from spending on the wife. Smile. Chic

Oooops, scratch the "What kind of plug question?" After the conversion, I will be using the CM6 plug. Sorry, all I have to do is read more carefully. Chic
