New OS GGT10 just came in
Well I really was not expecting it until June, but I guess we are close enough! I saw this engine on the Japanese OS site and once I saw it I just had to try it out. I was able to order it from World Hobbies in Australia early April and true to what they told me it shipped right when they recieved it, I think it took four days from when they shipped until it was at my door.
I have a few pictures but we are heading out of town for the Memorial Day weekend so I will not be able to break it in until next week. I can say it looks to be typical OS high quality, it is ringed, and it is pumped. I can answer any more questions when I get back on monday though.

I live in Oz and my OS GGT10 arrived too last week. I've mounted it on a GP Lanier Stinger II with an APC 13x7 prop and Bisson pitts muffler and it goes really well. The engine started straight away once primed and it sounds really nice running through the pitts muffler. I cannot wait to take the plane out as I had an OS 46AX on it so it will be interesting to see the difference.

JoeyCoates and KiwiInOz: are either of you able to ascertain whether or not the cylinder is cast iron? I did some poking around and it turns out that the cylinder for the 15ggt is the same nickel-plated cylinder used in the 91fx, same OS part number even. The OS spec sheet lists the displacement of this engine as something like .594 cubic inches, which doesn't sound to me like anything used before on a glow engine, more like a part specific for this engine. I had 3 OS fx-series engines and all 3 cylinders peeled. I know that OS has (supposedly) "corrected" that issue, but I'd love to see a plain old cast iron liner in this engine as it REALLY has my interest. Thanks!!

To the best of my knowledge, ringed OS engines do not use the ABN/ABC design, I have several 50 and 91 OS heli engines as well as GT15HZ and GT15. The cylinders on those look like tempered steel or cast iron.

Hi,
What are the recommended prop sizes for this engine? I want to get it but I can only get it next month due to budget restrain. n the meantime, I am building a Seagull Challenger kit and I want to convert it to Trike landing gear. Just need measurements to make sure there is enough ground clearance.
Thanks.
