what is the best gap setting for the G-23 spark plug

.024 TO .028 Will work fine Wont make much difference which setting you use as long as it sparks.

I gap all my plugs from my G-23's to my 3W150's at .020 All my plugs are either BPMRA&'s or CM-6's.

I use .020" also, the thickness of an Exacto blade.

Although .020" is the official setting, You will find that they run better at .024"-.025" as long as the ignition is strong enough to fire the plug.

.024" works best for my G23 converted to EI.
