One of the best WT series carbs ever made. Used on Taurus 52 and Brison 3.2 among others. Has a very wide range of needle adjustment, etc. Great choice..... I always keep several in the drawer just in case. For replacement or parts, you can't go wrong for the price.

Just curious, are you having problems with your DLE 30 carb?

The Walbro WT-76 and WT-201 carbs were used on 50cc engines like the Sachs 3.2, BME 50, and DA 50 engines

thanks for the suggestions..... Truckracer i seem to be having some sort of either carb or ignition issue.... my engines pops from about half throttle on up..

i started trouble shooting it sat and sunday.... The pop told me perhaps my high end needle was rich... so i peaked my engine while it was running and backed off a hair to prevent a lean run... the popping persisted..... it doesnt alway pop but it will through out the flight... none of my other gassers have this tendencuy.... next i changed plugs, it didnt help.... so i widened plug the gap to 24... it didnt fix it.... i changed switches it didnt fix it

this is what led me to believe it is either ignition or a carb issue

Yes, the WT 76 might be a bit large for a 30. I wouldn't hesitate to try it though.

One of my 30s is like that but plug gap has always fixed the problem. I have heard of some of these engines (ignitions) missing with a full charge on the battery but have never experienced this.

im using a 4.8 nicad on my ignition BTW

what is the Ignition module #3 supposed to be timed at on the DLE30? because i can swap out an ignition from one of my standard RCXcels....

heres a quite i found Jody post..remember him?
Walbro carb equivalents for the DLE20/30 are WT793 for the 20, WT759 for the 30.
i found it in this thread http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10...m.htm#10904467

WT-759 is not a valid Walbro # on the Walbro site but comes up all over on Google. It looks like the OEM DLE 30 carb

The WT-793 is a #24 size carb

not a bad price.... according to EBAY he has more than 10 instock.... so i dont have to worry about them running out, and will give me time to experiment with a different ign....im gonna pull the cowl off my cub and see for myself what the dle 30 comes timed at

my dle20 came timed at 40... when i put a std rcxcel ign i moved it to 28

so the #3 dle30 module has its own unique timing curve, different than the standard RCXcel ign?

W8ye did your 20 come timed at 32 from factory or you shifted it?

The sensor is mounted on the casting seam and it is 32 degrees. If you rotate the crank backwards, it will read 40 degrees

metal

My dle would also do that in the air. I just kept leaning it till it went away. My engine would also bog/down/go rich under a positve G pitch up or in a turn. leaning it solved my problem. I think you the dle might gain more by a large carb for max power. i took the choke out and took the dremel to mine to clean up the air going in. picked up 200 rpm by doing this. i had to richen thelow end and lean the high even more after I cleaned up the carb. I would like to try the larger carb and see what it does. mine will now pull the APC 16x14 at 8,200-8,300

I know it's off topic (not DLE30) but I installed a Walbro carb on my DLE111 and it made all the difference in the world. Like a steroid shot. Easier and more consistent tune.

Fullspool is not Jody! Fullspool is located where he says he is.

Jody, though he is no longer located where his avatar says, is still located not too far away.
