Biela 18x10 Focke Wulf 3 blade scale prop
Some time ago I bought a beautifull Biela FW190 scale prop for my Do 345 project.
On their website Biela claims this prop can be driven by a 30 - 40cc engine, so I bought a 35cc NGH 2 stroke thinking it would do the job. Afther running in the engine I tried the prop, but the engine was not able to rev it up. Now I bought a ZDZ40 and even this engine barely makes 6000rpm with this engine. This is perfect for my project, but is still on the low rpm side for normal use.
Just wanted to share this information because I never found any info on the known forums.

Maybe it could be an idea for the users of Biela scale props to write their experiences in a thread.
I can Imagine that the other 3 and 4 blade scale props ask some more power than their sport brothers.
Could be very helpfull.

My Feedback: (1)
Have been using their 20x10x4 on a P-47 with a DLE 55 for several years now. The plane flies fine but is simply not as fast as when it has a 22x10x2 prop. If you can live with less speed, use the Beila prop. If not, use them for display only. They do unload in the air, so there will be some improvement. On my setup, there is a 1,000 rpm drop on the ground over the 2 blade.
