Saito fg-21
Just saw the new saito fg-21 in a mag. It seems to incorporate the new changes found on the fg-17. This second iteration of the fg-20 should be much better. Can't find it on horizons web page yet. I know they're letting the 20 go at a decent price...if it comes down to $350...it might be worth a try.
Really interested to see performance results.

It has the RCEXL type ignition but the original odd ball Saito spark plug
The bore has been increased .3mm to 32mm and the same stroke at 26mm
Makes it a 128?

RE: Saito fg-21
Ad says that it will have updated exhaust valve seats and more efficient carb. Wonder what that means/implies. Anyway, the pic shows a new sensor (I'm guessing rcexl like that found on FG-17).

Oh yes my clunk is a filtered clunk also. I guess that is sufficient and I don't need another inline filter. I also added a turbo header muffler to mine

Just had a test run. All seems ok except but it does seem to pulse a little. ie the rmp seems to change a little with no throttle change. Any ideas? does it matter?
I had to alter the throttle setting so at idle the low end of the pulse was still high enough not to cut out
