Default 3 or 4 blade prop size for DLE 55???? :-(

I just build a Great Planes Edge 540 27% with a DLE 540 gas engine. I am hearing that my idea of a 20x12 prop is to small? I think the ground clearance for the 22-23" is a bit close. I was wondering what size 3-blade or 4-blade prop I can use in substitution? Will this adversely affect my 3D flying? Where can I buy a 3-4 blade at? I checked online and can only fine 10" ones around? Thanks:-)

There is a company in Taiwan that makes a scale Hamilton three blade prop setup that has adjustable pitch too.
A user on that other forum called UncleGeorge who sells them here in the USA.
it is a 20-10 through 12 pitch prop. it uses carbon fiber composite blades. The prop is intended for use on 50cc size engines.

As I stated in your other post you need a 20x12 3 Blade prop. You need to look harder on the internet. tons of props out there.

The Mezjlik 20x12 carbon 3 blader works great on the 55. I have mine piped so the 20x12 is probably not enough load but works well nontheless. Buy it at Dessert Aircraft...Pricy but worth it.
