saito fg-21
I wanted to make this thread dedicated to the saito fg-21. I owned a fg20 of which i constantly kept burning the exhaust valve. Now the new fg21 should have an updated carb and much harder valve seats. I have flown mine now for 2 hours. And I like it so much I ordered a second one. Now let's hope it can keep the exhaust valve in.

RE: saito fg-21
I just got a FG-21 and bench ran it today. It ran sweet, started immediately and never faltered. As the instructions state, I kept the RPMs below 4000 for the first 40 minutes. Although I have many Saito glow engines, this is my first gasser. During the break in run a lot of BLACK oil came out of the breather nipple, so much that it surprised me. Is this normal for this engine? If it had been a glow motor, I would have just s**t my pants, but not knowing for sure, I let it run. Other than that it runs great.
Just wondering?

RE: saito fg-21
I have had a fg21 since dec. two days ago it let me down fouled a plug!
I have only about two hours on the engine, talke to horizon hobby today and they are sending a new plug. Has anyone else had this happen?
The motor other than that has been great. the carb is a little finiky.
I am running a master airscrew 16x6 prop any other suggestion for a prop.
thanks
