I'm installing a DLE 20 in a TF P-47. I was thinking of using a 16x8 prop.

Any suggestions?

16x8 is pretty much the std prop... on my 3d plane i like a 17x6.... you could even use a 15x10 xoar or menz if you wanted to haul a little more

That's exactly the prop I use on my TF P-47. It flies well.

Definately Xoar 17-6 for 3D, for a warbird 16-8 or 16-10 I would think, possibly 15-10 also.

In my 65" Pica 190 I have a DLE 20 and I use the xoar 16-8. It is a great combo. Very fast.

Top Flite Mustang with a DLE 20. Master Airscrew 16-8 two blade. DLE 20 in H9 Hellcat Master Airscrew 16-8 three blade. The three blade 16-8s on DLE 20 turn about 8,000 to 8,200 rpm. The two blade 16-8 about 8,500 to 8,700 rpm. Top rpm of course depends on muffler system used. Eather has plenty of power for 60 to 90 size planes.
