Default Rcexl Tach

Has anyone had issues with the Rcexl Tach when connected to the rpm output signal wire on a DLE 20 ignition?I've only had this set up for 2 months and right out of the box the tach just reads zero's all the time (flashing or moving across). If I hook the tach right into the Hall sensor line with a Y harness it works fine. The instructions claims something to the effect of this telling that there is RF interference between the ignition and the tach. UMMMM, as far as I can tell the DLE ignitions are made by Rcexl and that RPM lead is meant for the Rcexl tach. Why doesn't it work? Or am I missing something? (Like "Do Not Remove the Throttle return spring"..... ooooops).

also see it on my DLE 20 Ignition and that unit only. Don't know the answer to the question but confirm I have the same issue.
On the RCEXL Ign's fitted to my Mintors, the same tach works perfect. No issues.

Tried a different RCEXL tach, same problem. Something wonky with those #4 ignitions.

Yep, mine works sometimes, and then goes wonky, depends on how fast the engine is running too.

And so indicates some amount of radio interference.
