Mystery Gas engines
I have a couple of gas engines, that I have forgotten about, especially as to who made them at the time.
One I think was a US Engines made engine around 26cc. It is unique in having mounting lugs on the side which can be quite handy sometimes.
The other engine which is a little 19cc engine, gives me vague memories about it but I am drawing a blank.
Does anyone remember them?
Thanks for looking.
Earl
The engine in the middle of the three here is the one I think was made by US Engines but I could be mistaken. it is Made in the USA though, from before when the Chinese took over all the manufacturing for small engines.
Here is that cute little 19cc gas engine. It is vaguely familar though, but I forget at this time anything about it. The frame holding the magneto tends to obsure the engine from the front. This one is still new having never been run so far. it does weigh about 1757 grams as it is though, so it isn't all that light weight.

RE: Mystery Gas engines
The first engine is not a US 25 as they had indentions in the fins for the long wrench to to take the cylinder bolts out.
I cannot remember exactly what it is but essentially it is a old RYOBI 31 with beam mounts. It was made before Lawboy, IDC, Ryan, and Ryobi came along to make them. I have one that is a Lawnboy that I bought new in the early 80's but mine does not have the beam mounts either.

RE: Mystery Gas engines
TKG thanks, Yeah I think that is it, an Evra and yes Hobby Lobby sold them many years ago too. They used to call them a EVRA 190 for 1.9 cu in or 31cc. Horizon Hobbies might have sold them too. Some people say it'll turn a 18x6 at 7,000+ RPMs. If i remember right they used to have a pulley and a rope pull for starting them too. The Evra's appear to have maybe used Ryobi parts to make them.
Yeah that little 19cc engine does look like a Echo. But I found it interesting that the label on it implies that someone made a number of them for RC plane use too. So i was curious if anyone remembered who made a number of them for sale years ago.
Thanks everyone for helping me out
Captjohn, actually I don't know what I'll do with them at this time.
There is a youtube video of someone running a Evra Engine like mine too:
