Default Falcon Gas prop 28 x 9.5

Hey guys just got my Falcon prop from Thunderbolt RC and am very impressed with the quality and weight of this prop.

28 x 9.5 weighs in at 223 grams

Ive been using Mejzlik for the longest time but might be converted.....

I run them on most of my gassers and after a lot of tinkering the 23x9 carbon is the best I've flown on a DLE and a 22x8 on a DA-50 for aerobatic flying.

Like BH I have a 23X9 and love the performance. Better pull, less noise and better downline breaking then any other 50cc prop I have run.

SRT,

Have you tried a 20x12 or 21x12 3 blader from Mezjlik? Curious how the 2 blader will compare to the 3 on your airframe.

I can tell you these are thinner, lighter, and spin up better than Mez

First thing I noticed was how thin they are.

Matt it may not be a fair comparison but the previous Laser 200 was powered with a DA 50. I ran a Mej 22X10 and a PT 23X8. Now on a pretty much identical airframe with an additional pound the DLE 55 and Falcon 23X9 pulls with much more authority and slows on the downlines better. Eventually I will finish a Comp ARF 3M Extra I have in the garage and at this point it's a no brainer that it will get a Falcon 32X11 or 32X12 bepending on the engine selected.

Did I read that right? Are you really turning a 28x9 Falcon with a DLE55? Or did you mean 23x9?

I'm curious because the Mezj 20x12 3 blader on a piped DLE55 produces outstanding brakes to go with good thrust. But the biggest advantage to me is it's wisper quiet electric like

LOL, you are correct Matt. It was a 23X8. I have only run a 3 blade prop on a DA 150. I know that the 3 blade will take some vertical away. The Laser is big for a 50 or 55. It spans 93" and has a ton of drag so I'm not sure if it would have enough pull.
