Default MLD 35 ?

I am thinking about getting this engine for my next project. What is your opinion of this engine and can I us life 2 cell 6.6v on the ignition without doing damage to it?

I can see no reason to buy that engine over most of the current offerings in the 30cc category including the OS, DLE, or EME

You're for sure looking to replace the ignition with an RCExcel

It ran ok for me after I replaced the ignition and fussed with the carb but other engines have been far less trouble for the same or more power.

The PTE36R has tons of power and comes with the RCXcel ignition. Dont know what your project is, but this engine will fit the bill.

I have looked at the EME 35cc gas engine and it looks like it my work. How is the quality of these engines and is there good customer service after the sale?

Thanks

He's nuts about customer service, I worked on this engine and was extremely pleased.

As an example, the 60 in this video ran ok for a flight then it started kicking during start up. We played with everything, TD said he was shipping a new ignition. Remembering some woes I had with stock DLE plugs, and with nothing to do but wait for the ignition to arrive, I threw a new NGK ICM6 plug in and it ran like a top. After discussing this with TD he replaced all the stock EME plugs and ships them with NGK now.

I would rate the quality as high, and the value when stacked against other engines in its class as extremely high.
