When the outboard motor industry went to recommending synthetic oil in their engines that had
computer controlled oiling they experimented with very low oil ratios such as less than 200 to one,
You know what the biggest problem was that they ran into? There was so little oil left on the cylinder
bore that rusting would occur if the engine set for several days before being run but the engines
ran just fine.

To add to the above post. If the engine hits the ground. What oil are we talking about?
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!!!

99% of them are going to take a dirt nap before an oil related problem anyway.

Maybe if people spent more time actually flying instead of being angry keyboard know-it-alls we could alter that statistic to 95%, but until that happens..............

Not pointing fingers at anyone. Just voicing my overall frustration with forums and why I rarely ever log in anymore. It just gets old trying to help people who seem bent on kicking you in the nards for the effort. I spend my time flying instead.

I have a friend that uses it at 32:1 in his racing chainsaws. It has a pleasant smell.

I use Klotz oil in my alky engines...some with Glow...some with spark. My cousin built snowmobile engines that won & held the Worlds Fastest drag records for 10 years in a row. Wayne K. from Casnovia Mich. He used Klotz oil most all the time. Capt,n

I am new to gas. Have flown glow for over 50 years. I just bought a CRRC 26i and a CRRC 55ii twin from S&W Giant Scale Models. I figure since Klotz spent the time and money to develope an oil strictly for use in our RC gassers I would give it a try.
