SAITO FG 84 R3 RADIAL GAS
#28
I have been able to run close to a half gallom of fuel through engine and so far no issues. The motor runs beautifly! Not a super power house but pulls the aircraft well. The model weighs probably 25 pounds plus and will pull the model vertical for awhile and the hold. I am running a 24x10 zoar wood 2 blade on it. I have a lot of nice compliments on the motor. I look forward to putting it on my scale project.

Thats the bold size. The prop needs to be drilled to 12mm. The shaft in back of the threaded part is larger on the 84RG. I started with a 10mm>11mm>11.5mm and then the 12mm to get a good fit for the Beila 12X22 three bladed prop.I got the metric drills from Drill America on Amazon.

Just got mine back from Ray English after he did the con rod and fuel distribution mods, it runs awesome! Beila 22-12 triple, 6100 RPM's, it's going in a Top Flight Focke Wulf. Using Cool Power Synthetic oil as per his recommendation, it slobbers a lot like a slimer, but that's a good thing, it's getting plenty of oil blown by the rings to the rods. Oils like Redline burn too good and aren't a good thing in a 4 stroke. Running the Cool Power in the 84, 57, Valach and Moki Radials, great stuff! Horizon has it.
